Great ideas for regular foods turned paleo. The photos make the food look delicious while all items are cost effective. The section on the basics has amazing recipes for seasoning, dressings and other ways to add flavor on the cheap.

I've looked through a lot of Paleo cookbooks, so it's not often I come across much that is truly unique, but this cookbook had quite a few recipes I hadn't found versions of before! I've mixed thoughts on this, and really, my mind isn't completely made up on the recipes, but I am still trying new recipes in the book, which says much, if you ask me. If necessary, I'll update the star-rating after I've been able to try a couple more things that interests me from a "will my family eat it or fuss about it" point of view. So far, it's really been a challenge to even find something that's agreeable to the pickier eaters in the family. Anyway, I really like the "A Few Basics" portion of the book where there are the condiments, and spice mixes. The spice mixes look good, and well-balanced.

Easy to read, simple recipes, easy to follow. A couple recipes were in the wrong section. The food though I found too plain, not quick enough for the weekday busy home cook.

Starts off with stating the author and her family saved $1,000 a month! Found a couple recipes but over all there are too many steps and random ingredients. Happy I borrowed it from the library.

A lot of the same old same old. Appreciated the authors stance that not everything has to include premium ingredients, sometimes just chicken breast and veggies are a great choice. The Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts looked great!

This one was pretty good. Unfortunately, the smell of the pages/ink is so strong that there is no way I could ever add it to my personal collection :(

My family uses recipes from this book quite regularly! I am allergic to wheat and dairy (gluten and casein, specifically) Paleo diet already excludes them so we have a handful of good cookbooks.
