    This is supposedly Volume 2, published 1958 as far as I can tell from browsing the internet. It is supposed to contain a condensed version of a story by Jean McDevitt about Mr. Apple naming his family after varieties of apple such as Jonathan, McIntosh, Delicious; they ran out of suitable names for the last girl so they named her Ann, as in 'an apple'. Very cute. I wonder if this is the book that also has a drawing of a boy covered in insects under the bushes in his garden - he's happily letting t This is supposedly Volume 2, published 1958 as far as I can tell from browsing the internet.
