Tommy is almost four years old. While he is the youngest in his family, Tommy can do many things on his own like combing his hair, washing dishes, climbing in the playground and going to school. But when Tommy has a nightmare, he tries to climb in his parents' bed. Dad says no, but his parents do come up with a solution to allay Tommy's fears. This solution makes Tommy even more brave and self-reliant. Parents of children who experience nightmares, fear the dark or don't want to go to sleep might Tommy is almost four years old. Beautiful book that helps children to understand some times we just are afraid and that is okay. I loved Funny Pally. we all need some one or some thing to help us get through scary moments and the author picked a great one that children will relate to and love. great job on an important story with a valuable lesson.

Sleep has always been a challenge at my houses. My son still wakes up about 3am and will wander into our room. For the longest time the tired mom in me would simply haul him into my bed and attempt to go to sleep. He would sleep...but he was the only one. We finally had to make the hard choice to send him back to his own room at night. "Big Boys Sleep in Their Own Bed" by Ayala Saar tells the story of an independent little boy named Tommy. Tommy is growing up and he can do all kinds of big boy things. Even though he is a big boy he still find himself afraid at night when he wakes up alone in his room. Will he be able to overcome his fear and sleep in his own bed? Tommy is so much like my son. Independent in every way and trying so hard to be a big boy. I think that any child can relate to Tommy and his fear of being alone in his bed at night. As a parent I love how it shows Tommy not causing a fuss when his Dad takes and puts him back in his own bed. The picture shows Tommy crying, but remaining calm as his Dad tucks him back in bed. The book teaches little ones that it's okay to be afraid, and that sometimes we just need to find a special "someone" who makes us feel safe. Even if it's a stuffed animal. The pictures are bright and colourful, reminding me of anime. The story is written as a poem which makes it fun to read with your little one. I'll often leave the last word out of a line and my son will fill in the word. "Big Boys Sleep in Their Own Bed" is a great story to read to any little one who is having trouble staying in bed for the whole night. * Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free. How to grow up to be a more independent and brave kid! I enjoyed how the author had the parents of the kid, Tommy was teaching him how to be a big. yo and not just being mean to Tommy by telling him he is expected to be a big grownup boy especially when he was only about to turn four years old soon and then rewarded him for his achievement.Such great, illustrations as well that I felt it needs five stars for a job well done. I recommend this ebook for young kids and parents. I received this ebook How to grow up to be a more independent and brave kid! "Pleasant Dreams, Tommy!" This is another fabulous children's rhyming story by Ayala Saar. It's about 4-year old Tommy who is big, bold, strong, and brave. He's big enough to dress himself, walk to Kindergarten, and thinks he's the bravest boy in the land! But ... when he goes to bed, he often has bad scary dreams. He doesn't scream or cry, 'cause he's a strong, big boy! But, climbing in with Mom and Dad just won't do! Funny Pally brings to Tommy sweet dreams.
