This is the fifth book in Margaret Daley’s Strong Women, Extraordinary Situations series. This story is very suspenseful with an undercurrent of romance. However, as the book opens, the signs surely don’t point to any potential romance. Think about it: you have just been released from prison after spending eight months there due to an assistant DA who convinced a jury to find you guilty of murdering your estranged wife even though you were innocent. Would you even want to be in the same town with her? Or suppose you are that assistant DA who comes to realize you almost ruined a man’s life because you accepted the results of shoddy police work and followed some preconceived ideas about the case. Would you have the courage to ever face that man again, or would you feel inclined to get as far away from him as possible? These are just some of the factors surrounding Gabriel and Kira. Add to that the fact that more women have been murdered and Kira has come under attack herself. Oh, by the way, consider that many of the people in town still think Gabriel is guilty of murder. His faith in God was renewed while he was in prison and helps him to hold his head up during some very difficult days. I recommend the book for anyone who enjoys a good clean suspenseful book. I received a complimentary copy of this e-book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

I thought that Kira and Gabriel handled themselves so well in many difficult situations and I loved the romantic attraction that began to develop between them. The author did a great job of creating a few possible murderers lurking in the small town. It made Kira and Gabriel’s task of finding the true killer a challenging one. This story had a great romance, lots of danger, a sweet father/daughter connection, and the feeling that if these two main characters didn’t work out the mystery, then no one would. Extraordinarily Good This book has everything you want in a good mystery, a strong wrongfully convicted man, an equally strong woman who was responsible and feels the need to apologize, a few unsolved murders plus a little family drama. I loved it and think it's one I'd definitely recommend. Margaret Daley brings us the fifth installment in the Strong Women, Extraordinary Situations series, Deadly Noel. Even though this is story is part of a series each is a stand alone story. I must admit I loved this book. We are introduced to Kira Davis and her character captivated me from page one. She ended a bad relationship and moved home to Pinecrest to become the assistant district attorney. 9 months ago she she prosecuted Gabriel Michaels for the murder of his ex-wife, but recently important factors are brought to the surface which points to his innocence. Kira has mixed emotions because she was close to the victim, but also because she doesn't like the thought that she put an innocent man in prison. Knowing that words will not change anything, but wanting what is right Kira drives out to the Michaels' farm to appologize. Gabriel was released from prison and returned to an almost bankrupt farm to raise his daughter. He's full of anger and just wants to be left alone. When shots are fired on his land and a friend goes missing he learns to have peace then he must help solve a crime. I loved both characters! They were strong and complex with very real issues. Kira is a person who wants to right a wrong, but at the same time understands that it will take a lot to make things right. Yet, she still tries. Gabriel is in the awkward position of helping solve a crime he was convicted of and that begins with forgiveness. The author weaves words together that literally bring the setting and characters to life. This plot is one that will kept me turning pages until the end. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good suspense. I look forward to the next book, Deadly Dose, which is set to be released in 2016. *I received this book from the author for an honest opinion without bias or outside influence. All thoughts or opinions are my own.

I was captivated from the first paragraph! I've read the other books in the series but this book can definitely be read as a stand alone! The story is fast-paced and I read it all in one day. As Kira and Gabriel try to solve the murders, they encounter a lot of resistance from the community, of course, because many still believe Gabriel is guilty. Small town stuff! Kira is a great character and I really admired her strength in standing up for Gabriel when she knew she had sent him to prison erroneously. When the killer sets his sights on Kira, Gabriel softens his animosity towards her and tries to protect her. I really liked how Gabriel was a fair man, even though he had a bad marriage, an ex-mother-in-law who treats him terrible and a town that wouldn't forgive him! It takes a "big" person to do that. I would recommend this book since I enjoyed it so much! The end of the book left a "cliffhanger" so I can't wait to read the next book!

More murders and Gabriel is set free. Did he murder his wife? There are some people whom thinks he did. What about Kira, how does she feel ? Can they find the murderer before it is to late, and is Kira putting her life on the line? This is a story based on forgiveness. I was given a copy of this boom by the author for my honest review.

Kira is a strong minded woman. Partly from her feelings of responsibility and partly from her need to solve her best friend’s murder, she places herself in the line of fire. But she’s smart about it! I can’t tell you how relieving it is to find a heroine who will accept help and protection! Gabriel, on the other hand, would probably have let this mystery pass if an incident hadn’t drawn him back into suspicion and pulled him in due to simple proximity. But his changing attitude throughout the book and his faith-focus endeared him. The plot had great twists. I figured out the culprit about half-way, but a few of the unexpecteds threw me. I love surprises. Even when they have to do with elements of crazy people and killers. LOL! This book certainly gets my endorsement! And if the other books in Margaret Daley’s series are like it, I’ll be delving into the “Strong Women Extraordinary Situations” series. (Next book comes out soon and involves a thread from this one! Can’t wait!) I so appreciate the author sharing a copy of her book with me for an honest review!

I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC copy of the book and once I picked it up it was so hard to put down. He was convicted based on the fact that her blood was found on him, so much that she couldn't be alive. He had an excuse for the blood being on him but the police and DA didn't listen to him. Now, he is back and very angry with Kira. She wants to make amends for her mistake and asks for his help to help her find the real killer. As he finally agrees to help her find the killer and clear his name in the eyes of the townspeople and Marcie's family, they are drawn together. The killer is someone from their small hometown; someone that they all know. The killer keeps asking Kira to stop him and this loads more guilt on Kira. I enjoyed this story and had trouble putting it down. There were lots of suspects and I kept trying to figure out who was killing off women. Great read!

Deadly Noel I liked the mystery part of the book a lot, but the romance seemed forced and frankly wasn't necessary since it seemed so secondary. A good little story with a surprise.
