    This is for people with lots of time on their hands who have serious gut problems. There were a couple recipes I would try, but nothing really jumped out at me for being awesome. 2 stars.

    This was totally not what I thought it would be. I just thought it was just a cookbook but nope. It was and entire diet plan geared towards your gut. LOVE IT> Lately people in my family as well as myself have been having gut issues. I picked this book up hoping to change you diet to help out with this issues. Little did I know how helpful this book is going to be. It gives you everything you need to start and healing of your gut. Simplified everything. Pictures were a great help as well.

    The beginning of this book is very good. It plainly lays out the facts about gut health and how to maintain it. The way it’s presented is very accessible. The recipes in this book are super great but many of them require a lot of time to prepare. I found the recipe portion to be haphazardly organized but the photographs were good and the instructions seemed thorough.

    Looks like it would be a good program to follow if you were trying to repair your gut. It starts with very basic soups and works foods back into your diet in different stages (each stage lasting 5-7 days). I was just looking for healthy, simple, wholesome recipes and this book does deliver. They are basic and simple recipes, but the ones I tried were tasty.
