   Pretty Shoddy I am typically generous in reviewing books, and perhaps giving this "book" two stars is too generous. The text trades between being exceptionally vague and then deeply detailed, almost never in between. It's unclear what audience would fund that helpful. The text is often repetitive, and rarely defines the technical terms it introduces. I could go on, but I need to find a real beginner's guide to programming having lost time here. This is not a guide for beginners; it is, rather, at best a hodgepodge collection of thoughts for someone learning basic programming from another, better source.

   Not at all what I expected If you are looking for actual step by step how to code. Step some place else. This book is only filled with generic information about what coding is and vague strategies on how it should be written. There is absolutely no coding instruction in this book.
