I was given this book in exchange for an honest review, and I am so glad that I was! I really enjoyed it! The author Martin asked me to tell her if there was one poem I particularly liked best, but honestly I can't do that. There are about three poems that I liked the most. I'll share a sample of one of them to show what I like about it so much. This one is "Friends": "Friends are part of our journey and story/ When life has check out on us, and we on it./ They are by our side/ Friends are preci I was given this book in exchange for an honest review, and I am so glad that I was! Check it out for a rich and rewarding experience.

Poetry is always special because there's no limitation to the words written. It's hard sometimes to really describe to people what you're feeling at the moment and with poetry, the words flow easier. It's easier to hold a conversation through poetry when it comes to speaking, at least for me. In this collection, Virginia Martin, shares her fears, her desires and her creativity within each poem. Some poems make you self-reflect like the poems, What is poetry?, What makes you come alive? and Silent Plea. The collection is very insightful and moving to the reader and can have you digging deep for the emotions being read. My additional favorites are: I can't close my eyes, The sweetest man, In your eyes, Keep in the light, I want someone to find me, My inspiration, I know why I love, Your life and last, but not least, Love without borders.
