The stories themselves are good, easy to read while still challenging a beginner with difficulty progression. However, I bought the book due to it being paired with audio files. There are two links at the back of the book to download these files and I found several issues: 1. Only the first link works. That means you don’t get 60 of the stories to listen to. 2. The contact link to the author doesn’t work and I haven’t been able to find any other means of communicating with him. If I had known these things beforehand I wouldn’t have bought the book, and as such I put a lower rating. If you’re ok with just having stories, then it should be a decent book.

Nonetheless, the book is a very helpful exercise that provides a gloss for each story alongside reading comprehension questions. Well-structured and well-paced.
