    There are many sweet treats to choose from in the Tasty Dessert: All the Sweet You Can Eat cookbook. Although the recipes are predominately mainstream, there are some that are dairy free or gluten free for those with restrictions. The cookbook starts out with a great introduction to baking, with a list of essential ingredients and their uses, as well as necessary equipment. For those just starting out, there is a good list of tips and hints to get you started. The cookbook starts out with a great introduction to baking, with a list of essential ingredients and their uses, as well as necessary equipment. For those just starting out, there is a good list of tips and hints to get you started. Tasty Dessert is portioned out into logical sections, which I have listed below with some of my favorite recipes. Dense & Fudgy: One Brownie 100 Ways; Chocolate Ripple Cheesecake Crunchy, Crackly, Crispy: Cinnamon Toast Biscotti Chewy & Gooey: Rocky Road Ice Cream Cake; Salted Caramel Brownies Juicy & Fruity: Tart Blueberry Pie; Sour Cherry Fritters Creamy & Dreamy: Classic Cheesecake Soft & Fluffy: Galaxy Mirror-Glazed Cake; Caramel Apple Skillet Cake Drippy & Oozy: Pineapple Upside-Down Doughnuts; Sticky Bun Cake One of the best things about this cookbook are the plentiful photographs, as they definitely inspire and entice. The recipes themselves are a good mixture of easy to more challenging, but none of the desserts were overly ambitious. For these reasons, I would recommend Tasty Dessert to other readers.

    Erster Eindruck: Mein erster Eindruck war sehr positiv. Verschiedene und tolle Rezepte, ein hochwertiges und tolles Cover und eine große Auswahl. Optik und Aufbau: Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass bei manchen Rezepten die Schritt für Schritt Anleitung auch mit Bildern verdeutlicht werden. Leider gibt es nicht zu jedem Rezept ein Bild, was ich ein wenig schade finde, da mir das immer hilft, mir das Ergebnis vorzustellen und zu entscheiden, ob ich das Rezept überhaupt ausprobieren möchte. Rezepte: Hier ist eigentlich für jeden etwas dabei, der Süßes mag, denn es gibt Rezepte für Kuchen, Donuts, Cookies, Soufflés, Flan, Tartes und vieles mehr. Ich glaube, da wird jeder fündig! Schön finde ich es, dass es bei manchen Rezepten Variationsmöglichkeiten gibt wie bei den Brownies oder den verschiedenen Käsekuchen-Variationen. Rezeptkategorien: Die Rezeptkategorien fand ich etwas unübersichtlich, da es zum Beispiel Kategorien wie "Weich & Klebrig" gibt, mit denen ich erstmal nichts anfangen konnte. Auch, dass es kein Inhaltsverzeichnis mit allen Rezeptnamen auf einem Blick gibt finde ich ein wenig schade. Es gibt allerdings ein Register, das ich allerdings ebenfalls ein wenig unübersichtlich finde, da hier nicht nur die Rezeptnamen aufgeführt werden, sondern auch Backzutaten oder ähnliches. Fazit: Ich kann auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung für alle "Nachtisch-Fans" aussprechen und vor allem Tasty-Liebhaber kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Wer allerdings ein klares, übersichtliches Rezeptbuch mit je einem Bild zu einem Rezept sucht, sollte vielleicht in Erwägung ziehen, ein anderes Buch auszusuchen.

    I thought that this was a very informative dessert cookbook--there was a lot of pages dedicated to technique and a section dedicated to ingredients (flours, extracts, powders, creams, etc.) and equipment/materials; all which is great for a beginning baker and treat enthousiast. A lot of these desserts do require a bit of time and effort (which isn't a bad thing...learning these recipes can certainly help your baking game). I would recommend this recipe book for anyone looking for a big dessert t I thought that this was a very informative dessert cookbook--there was a lot of pages dedicated to technique and a section dedicated to ingredients (flours, extracts, powders, creams, etc.) and equipment/materials; all which is great for a beginning baker and treat enthousiast. A lot of these desserts do require a bit of time and effort (which isn't a bad thing...learning these recipes can certainly help your baking game). I would recommend this recipe book for anyone looking for a big dessert to conquer one weekend, or anyone looking to impress their fellow friends/colleagues with a cool and different dessert.

Ich liebe warmen Kuchen! Und warmen Käsekuchen ganz besonders! Mannomann ist der LECKER!!! Und die Cupcakes erst… Sorry Leute, ich muss in die Küche! Lust auf Süßes, ihr versteht das 😉

You can open to nearly any page and find something you'd like to eat after dinner, or when you're up late at night, or want to have a snack when you have some company over... or you're a little high. The book is organized into chapters based on flavor and texture rather than categories, which I can't tell if that's a g I asked for and received this book for my birthday last year. The book is organized into chapters based on flavor and texture rather than categories, which I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing: on the one hand, if you want to make a specific kind of thing -- cake, for instance -- you're going to find yourself doing some index surfing. On the other hand, if you have a vague craving you want to satisfy (or are just in the mood for a little food porn), this way probably is best. If I were to nitpick, I'd say it could have used more pie, but that's a pretty small thing to worry about. So, anyway, I'd recommend: it's a good resource for everyone's favorite meal.
