I’m so over authors making women feel guilty about having desires and calling themselves the wh word of the sl word when they show enjoyment in the physical side of things. I mean you start the book of with a wet dream and then you make the character call herself names because she enjoyed it?!?!? Moving on from that, they have modern conveniences like plumbing and video cameras but it seems to be more of an old world village setting than modern day one. There is really no explanation as to the meshing of old with the new it’s only referred to as technology. Tattiena is going through a type of sexual heat, which causes her to pretty much grab Prince Leonide on first meeting and let it all out. She is resentful that her body is making her do things she doesn’t want and she takes it out on Leonide. They spend most of the beginning part of the book sniping at each other or tearing each others clothes off. Then they spend the remainder of the book apart and only get back together during the last chapters. We get to know them as individuals and never as a couple. When the two characters spend that much time apart and with only conflict as the initial intro to them it’s hard to believe there could be a satisfying HEA. Tattiena loves her dragon and her people and she would do anything to protect both. I enjoyed the interaction with Tattiena and her dragon Nargoya. Some of the characters namely her stepbrother just was a bit of an eye roll. Guess I have seen that plot device overused with the stepbrother being a bit of a disgusting troll, I just sighed and knew he would get his eventually. Barbarians, whom we don’t really learn much about them or their reasoning for the attacks, are attacking Tattiena’s village and are posing a threat to Leonide’s as well. A treaty is the premise for the meeting of Tattiena and Leonide. The plot is a little loose to be honest. Book Two: We meet Warrior Nakeeri who protects her village with her dragon Teramessi. Nakeeri and her dragon live in a cave on the outskirts of the village because she is not really welcomed by those there. She is more of a solitary person and has a bit of a challenging time dealing with other people. This story has a much darker feel to it, there is also a sexual trigger alert. We get to know more of the secondary characters and that seems to give this story a bit more meat to it than Book 1. Nakeeri’s life is a bit bleaker than Tattiena’s and as such she feels more isolated. I liked that the author did not have these two strong women going at each other or being mean or snippy. There was mutual respect and admiration and genuine affection. The two of them both had very unconventional difficult childhoods plus they shared the same frustration with the sexual heat that their bodies subjected them to. As with the first book the plot is paper-thin and the reasoning behind Nakeeri staying with a village that treats her worse than a stray dog makes no sense, especially when the problem is solved so easily. With a tighter plot that makes sense, a better explanation for the melding of old and new technology, maybe toning down the heat issue with the women and not making them mindless sexbots when it occurs. Fleshing out the secondary characters a bit more and giving the leads more dimension could have made these stories a lot stronger. Both of these stories are worth reading. Strong female characters who ride dragons into battle. Hot males who match their mates perfectly. Take a trip in the world of Limea...it's totally worth it and you'll enjoy it! Here are my reviews for each story in the set: Princess Tattiena - This is a great story that I just couldn't put down! Tattiena is the dragon rider for her kingdom. Prince Leonide comes to her kingdom seeking an alliance because savages have been attacking other kingdoms. Not much is know about dragons and their riders since they have gone nearly extinct and all the old texts are not able to be understood. All Tattie knows is that her mother was a dragon rider too but never rode her dragon again after getting pregnant and died when she was still young. So when she meets the prince and is instantly drawn to him, she freaks out and fights their destiny. Tattie and Leo have unresistable explosive chemistry, they fight off invaders, and she ultimately sends him away. But all is not lost however. The prince secured the alliance, Tattie and Leo get their HEA, more is discovered about the dragons, and the next book is set up very nicely. Warrior Nakeeri - This story picks up right where the first book left off but centers on new characters. Nakeeri is the rider of the dragon Teramessi and together they live a lonely life in a cave outside of the kingdom they are forced to protect based on a promise made in order to spare her life when she was just a child. When she sees a dragon she knows dancing in the sky in celebration she decides to investigate and this decision changes her life for the better. She lands and meets baby dragons and makes new friends, but doesn't know what to do about the handsome Captain of the Guard, Kalvis. Their attraction is instantaneous and brings about her heat. All in this new kingdom are welcoming to her and want her to stay but her promise draws her back to her own kingdom which results in her imprisonment. But never fear, Kalvis as well as all of her new friends come to her rescue and together they fight and everyone achieves their HEA. This story will at times make you laugh, turn you on, and tug on your heart strings. I recommend this book if you love dragons, action, strong women and the men who stand, or fly, at their sides.

As the dragon rider for the kingdom, she has a special bond with her dragon, Nargoya, which she doesn’t fully understand since her mother, also a dragon rider who could have guided her, died when Tattiena was very young. Prince Leonide Axxele from Davuno, aware other kingdoms have been attacked by savages, arrives in Gregorick to form an alliance with their neighboring kingdom as well as gain the strength and protection of a dragon, if those rumors that they owned a dragon were true. When Leo and Tattiena finally meet, they have a strong and immediate attraction to each other which brings on her heat and they mate. Their attraction gets even stronger when they fight together to fend off an attack by invaders, but she is afraid of the consequences of the relationship and resists. After the attack, Tattiena's fears that Leo was her mate meant to sire the next dragon rider caused her to send him away. She had heard her own mother had grown “soft” and afraid of battle after having a child, and hesitating to strike in battle had led to her death. Will their shared destiny draw Leo and Tattiena back together again? Will the alliance join their kingdoms as well as their hearts? This was a well-written story featuring a strong hero and heroine. An intriguing story line and wonderful characters bring this book to life for the reader. It brings out strong emotions as the reader is taken into a world of dragons, battles, and love. You won’t want to miss these wonderful stories!

Princess Tattiena I read this book after Warrior Nakeeri, but it did not affect the story at all. I loved Tattiena's strength and determination. Her and her dragon are fierce and deadly. I was surprised that as a dragon rider she was not treated with respect by the king she protects. At her dragon's urging she goes to King Gregorick's castle. I absolutely loved how Princess Tattiena, also one of the last female dragon riders, took her under her wing and want to protect her and live there. She meets Kalvis and starts feeling things she doesn't understand. I was disappointed in Nakerri going back to her old king for permission. The feelings she was having took her by surprise and it was slightly funny that she had no clue what was happening. When her old king imprisons her can Kalvis save her? I love the idea of dragon riders and their dragons being special. If you like Anna McCaffery and the Dragonriders of Pern, I think you will love this series. I love the dragon rider tales and these fierce, brave women who will fight for their happiness and to defeat their enemies. Princess Tattiena Dragons and super hot Sexy dreams that become a reality? Wow. What more do you want? If you like dragons then this one is for you. Warrior Nakeeri She's tougher than she looks And she's twice as tough mentally as she is physically. That makes Nakeeri an amazing warrior that has had a tough life that is so hard to comprehend but now she at least has a friend in Paneer and his dragon. I loved the first book in this series but I think this book touched me even more. The way that Nakeeri has had to fight since the moment of her birth. And what she's had to endure is astonishing. But she's tough, tougher than steel and she's no quitter. I love catching up with the characters and the dragons from the first book and now there's even more to meet. I enjoyed this book, I was curled up under a warm blanket with my cat snuggling next to me and a cup of tea (or two! ) And now these two books are snuggled up together as they should be in one bookset - yay! I thoroughly enjoyed reading these two as individual books and am now delighted that they have come together as one. I am volunteering to leave a review of this book

Two very good stories that grabbed my interest from the start of the books. This is for Warrior Nakeeri: The second book in the series called The Last of the Limea Dragon riders and I am in love with this series. Excellent This was a great dragon and family book that you have written. I liked how these dragons and their riders have joined up together at such a young age. In other words they grew up together, and experienced all the getting to know what it is to have each other. All the ups and downs of life for them both has made them stronger towards each other and for the kingdom and its people.

Love this box set and the author. Well written and so interesting. My first one on dragon riders. It is a great connection. The riders mate and then the dragons mate. It is one big love circle. And then all the excitement of getting all of these to mate. Especially when it is a hard task with war and all in between. It is exciting, emotional, suspenseful and so much more. A 2-story boxed set telling the story of 2 dragon-riders, the bond to their dragons and their fated partners. That's the kind of world building I live for. Why I stopped reading: I almost stopped reading on the first page to be honest. While I knew going in that the story had some heavy sexual content, it started off with the character dreaming of getting gang-banged and that opener felt more like a shock and awe campaign. But I decided to keep going and see if somehow this tied in to the story, but unfortunately after a few chapters, the hero/heroine still hadn't met, and I was a bit saddened (as a reader) to see dragons in stalls like cows. Overall: I honestly just didn't connect with this story or the characters. It might smooth out and get better deeper into the tale, but from what I read at the beginning, there was a strange imbalance to everything I just couldn't put my finger on. Who knows... maybe I just picked it up at the wrong time. While it looks like it might be a nice sensual read for fantasy romance lovers, this book just didn't quite engage me enough to continue.
