Hands down the best clean eating cookbook I’ve ever read! I was Paleo years ago and read a TON of books on the subject. I fell off that wagon eventually until being diagnosed with Hashimotos. Now I’m back on the clean eating lifestyle and back to reading about it. This cookbook is phenomenal and has an amazing amount of information in it! There’s no “fillers” or obscure ingredients found in this book. Just healthy, natural, delicious food! The recipes are easy to follow and food that my family will actually eat. I can’t rave about this book enough, it’s a fantastic resource for those looking to clean up their diet and nourish their body. All of the stars! Thank you to the publisher and @emilykylenutrition for this advance reader in exchange for my honest review.

This is a review of the recipes, not the AIP diet itself, which I find way too restrictive and can't imagine actually being able to follow for more than a few days. There's also no way to adapt the AIP to being plant based (since it eliminates all grains, legumes, nuts and seeds), which makes it unappealing for me as a long term prospect. However, since it's available on kindle unlimited and I've been struggling with Hashimoto's flareups recently, I decided to check it out, and I was pleasantly This is a review of the recipes, not the AIP diet itself, which I find way too restrictive and can't imagine actually being able to follow for more than a few days. If you are following the protocol, or just trying to clean up your diet and do a healthy "reset," the recipes in the book are actually quite excellent: tasty, quick, easy to prepare, with mostly simple ingredients. My husband has liked everything I've made from the book, too.

This book has a lot of detailed recipes, with clear instructions. It provides a good background/introduction on why diet is imported with auto-immune disorders, and walks through the protocol at a level that is easy to understand, even for a newly-diagnosed Hashimoto's patient. There are also a lot of different flavor profiles in the book, so it should appeal to a broad range of consumers and appetites. This book has a lot of detailed recipes, with clear instructions. I requested a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was denied. I am reviewing the book anyway on Goodreads and Facebook. #yourloss :-) I BOUGHT it on Amazon as my job revolves around healthy food, researching food/recipes, food deserts, community kitchens (so everything about food) AND literacy. #callisto #callistomedia apparently does not like me as I don't belong the ALA (I am Canadian!!!) -- I am not holding it against them but it would b I requested a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Address the root cause of Hashimoto's symptoms with healing, restorative recipes from The Hashimotos AIP Cookbook. Whether or not you have Hashimoto's or not, this book is chock full of amazing recipes that are healthy and great to look at! (I "read with my mouth-watering brain" as my mother says). Hashimoto's and the AIP are well explained and people with other health problems can also benefit from AIP - I have PCOS and these recipes work for me as well. The recipes are well written and easy to understand and I like that the ingredients are not so foreign or expensive. I have a tray or portobellos in my fridge at the moment so those aforementioned burgers are on the menu for tonight! As always, I try to find a reason to not rate with stars as I love emojis (outside of their incessant use by "Social Influencer Millennials" on Instagram and Twitter) so let's give it 🥣🥣🥣🥣🥣

Read all the way through + developed a week long meal plan as well as grocery list. Very excited to start this January 6 with intentions to complete April 5 and begin de-sensitized then.

So far I have only read this cookbook through, but as an experienced home cook I can already see that these recipes will work. This is not a cookbook that strives to provide pale imitations of non-AIP foods. Having been on the AIP for over a year, I appreciate the simplicity of good fresh ingredients, well prepared. This is the first AIP cookbook I’ve read that I’ve felt like systematically trying each and every recipe in the book. (With the possible exception of recipes with cilantro...)

I found this book to be easy to follow. I found several recipes I liked and will be taking a leap and trying a few I wouldn’t normally eat. I would recommend this book to my friends and family. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Best AIP cookbook!!! Anyone struggling with autoimmune would benefit greatly from these easy to follow, family friendly recipes! The recipes have ingredients that are found in local supermarkets and many are made in under 30 min. It’s my favorite AIP friendly cookbook!

none of the recipe pages had titles, you can see the title in the index but not on the actual recipe. It was super annoying

Thanks so much for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion. This is an easy guide and understanding towards Hashimoto’s disease with a regimen that will help alleviate certain effects of the suffering. I thought that book is a good outlook to help people start an AIP plan to a better life. I thought that book is a good outlook to help people start an AIP plan to a better life. I myself have been diagnosed with Hashimotos and this is my first time reading about a food plan to ease the disease. So to the author I’m grateful and I hope this helps me. However I did see one thing missing in this book and that is substitutions. I am allergic to coconut so I’m having to step outside the book to find substitutions. I’m also left to wonder if we really have to prepare meals like this or can we just eat veggies and beef. Or a plain smoothie? What did I like? I liked the no nonsense approach to what we should eat and the plan details how long you will be on this meal plan. Will I feel better in five weeks? I won’t know until I try. Would I buy this book? I find that I’m not entirely sure about some of the recipes. I do agree with prepping your kitchen but an ecopy of this book would suffice. It’s entirely up to you to buy a copy. Thoughts for the author? A small area for substitutions would not be remiss, otherwise I find the book was an eye opener, just failed to tantalize with the recipes.

A must have for anyone afflicted with thyroid problems, this cookbook has tasty recipes that will actually help put Hashimoto's symptoms into remission. While this book is very clearly mainly filled with recipes and is a cookbook, it also contains excellent information about treating hypothyroidism through diet and lifestyle change, AND includes a two week meal plan to help readers adjust to a new meal plan. The only "negative" thing I can say about the book is that it is very meat based (which, A must have for anyone afflicted with thyroid problems, this cookbook has tasty recipes that will actually help put Hashimoto's symptoms into remission. The only "negative" thing I can say about the book is that it is very meat based (which, to be fair, makes sense when you learn more about what foods can cause flare ups - lots of veggies, milk, legumes, and dairy on that list) and doesn't have many vegetarian recipes. Also it could have had more photos, I'm a sucker for cookbooks with lots of photos. That aside, I think this is a great book for learning strategies to treat Hashimotos and an excellent cookbook to boot!

3 stars I am very ambivalent about thus book. I suffer from an autoimmune disorder and hoped this plan would help me. First of all, the diet is incredibly restrictive. It would be nearly impossible for me to implement it. Also, I am not very sure that " leaky gut" is a true disease. However, all that being said, some of the recipes are very good and easy. I particularly enjoyed the smoothie recipes. I appreciate the authors ability to think outside of the box to try and help people like me. I rece 3 stars I am very ambivalent about thus book. Such a great source for those with Hashimoto's! I have a few friends that suffer from this, so I wanted to try some of these recipes on them, especially considering this diet is difficult to find appealing foods for! There's such a great variety and some combos that I wouldn't have thought of to try. I'll definitely be making some of these again in the near future, and love that I have a great reference to turn to when I want to make something for my best friend to eat, that won't cause her pain Such a great source for those with Hashimoto's!
