3/5: A Mixed Bag For the most part, I enjoyed the stories contained in this set. Some were obviously much better than others, but that can be a risk you have to deal with when getting a collection. I like this author's hotness. The sex is steamy and a lot of fun. I like that her Alphas are strong but flawed and the FMC can help their problems... but I dislike the way the FMC sometimes turns into a backboneless cum sponge after mating, that the sex positions can be hard to picture, and that there a 3/5: A Mixed Bag For the most part, I enjoyed the stories contained in this set. It can be as small as annoying eye stutters (rereading to make sure didn't read wrong) but a few times was so bad it made no sense and was frankly confusing.

Steamy, aliens meet Earth women and…Abduction or Payback I haven’t read all of these yet, but for the ones that I have which are ALIEN BRIDE and ALIEN BREED I can say they are entertaining, steamy and intriguing. Both of these stories took place in 2093 in a world far away from Earth in one and maybe a little too close to home in another. In ALIEN BRIDE Emma meets three alien men who all want her. And in ALIEN BREED there is a social experiment that goes horribly wrong. Can Naomi and Turin make i Steamy, aliens meet Earth women and…Abduction or Payback I haven’t read all of these yet, but for the ones that I have which are ALIEN BRIDE and ALIEN BREED I can say they are entertaining, steamy and intriguing. Both of these stories took place in 2093 in a world far away from Earth in one and maybe a little too close to home in another. In ALIEN BRIDE Emma meets three alien men who all want her. And in ALIEN BREED there is a social experiment that goes horribly wrong. Can Naomi and Turin make it right or does he get payback? I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout and recommend it for readers who enjoy PNR Alien male “finds” Earth female.

Mix hot aliens and earthlings Penelope Woods was a new author for me. If you like books that are fun, hot and filled with adventure she is the author for you. Mixing aliens with earthlings and you end up with lots of hot sex and love. Penelope writes a top notch action romance that will suck you in and you won’t be able to put it down. The chick soldier is a pussy A stupid one at that. This is the wet dream of someone who doesnt know what real pain does to you. It doesn't instill lust for the one causing it. The premise is interesting and the writing is good—if you overlook the jumpy transitions, but the pacing left me a bit confused. The connection between the heroine and hero seemed rushed, and her attachment to him was Stockholm syndrome played in an awkward way. I tried to go on, but the hero didn't help me either, he was selfish and I couldn't care enough for them to keep reading or to try the other installments. DNF. Interesting I enjoyed this series. It was a little more brutal to the women than I expected, but once I continued reading I began to understand. I love the different stories, these aliens are strong, wild and horny as hell. I need to read the next book to see what happens next.

Rushed The book seems rushed because it was filled with so much information and could’ve gone in so many different directions. It’s like Skyrim stuffed into a comic book. I think 1500 pages might’ve been enough to do the story justice.

I've read some negative reviews and I feel they were unjustified. These are completely stand alone so you can read one here and one there or if you feel like binging alien romance then this is the set for you.
