Absorbing story with characters for you to love and hate The world RC built for Tea, Fox, Kalen, and all the others is filled with richness and depth. The characters, with their keenly felt and intensely human emotions, draw you into the story quickly and deeply. You can like them, love them, or hate them but no one leaves you indifferent - even the monsters, as hideous as some of them are, sometimes touch your heart. The only thing that kept me from giving this book five stars is that it is told Absorbing story with characters for you to love and hate The world RC built for Tea, Fox, Kalen, and all the others is filled with richness and depth. You can like them, love them, or hate them but no one leaves you indifferent - even the monsters, as hideous as some of them are, sometimes touch your heart. The only thing that kept me from giving this book five stars is that it is told from two separate points of view that alternate, and while the majority of the tale is told from the heroine's point of view I found it increasingly difficult as time passed to keep the timeline straight in my mind. This may have been because it took me a long time to finish the series unfortunately real life kept pulling me away, and so it was easy to lose track of what I had read, and what events had already happened or were yet to happen. Well worth reading, though, and the ending is wonderful in the truest sense of the word.

Good read Well written, well plotted and because I had all three books to read at once I found no fault with the story. I usually dislike trilogies, The second book is always weak, however I read this as one novel and it worked.

Extraordinary stories! Young adults and old adults!!! These stories are woven together with vivid words and brilliant phrases. I wanted to keep reading.
