I enjoyed Malcolm and Claire's story but the girl they saved from the streets Sky was a huge part of the story and I felt that the main couple didn't spend lots of time together. I needed more interaction between Malcolm and Claire and less Sky. No virgins here, no cheating. Sweet epilogue with their twins. Darlene I read WAY to many books

When I first started reading this I didn't like Clair did she grow on me alittle.. but not so much..she acted rude about Malcolm being a biker.. she already thought he was a criminal. Which sucks because it was at first glance. And even if he was apart of MC he was a lawyer, as for Malcolm he was the star of the show. He was everything you needed in a Alpha and how he was towards Sky the orphan he saved it was ugh so dad like I loved him more!!! Another reason I couldn't connect with the couple the drama around the guns in the house.. both had there reasons but a month Seperation because of that and Clair said she's okay with guns being locked up. Emotionally gripping, well developed story! I absolutely love these two authors both individually and when they collaborate. I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t my favorite. Claire had to grow on me. She was judgy about Malcolm being a biker and down right rude about it. Instantly thought his money was dirty just because he was in a motorcycle club. Malcolm had a heart of gold and only wanted to protect kids from being hurt because of his past. Safe read Both celibate neither virgins No om/ow drama Epilogue 10 years

I liked Malcolm but didn’t really like Claire, and I didn’t feel the connection between them. Malcolm is a member of the MC and a prosecutor for the state. Claire is a fairly new social worker at a teen shelter. They meet when he rescues Skylar a homeless teen being attacked by a guy. He beats the guy pretty badly and takes Sky to have dinner and to the shelter. He beats the guy pretty badly and takes Sky to have dinner and to the shelter. He knows the director and when he brings Sky there he learns they are low on funds and gives the director his black card for expenses. Claire sees he’s a biker and assumes his money is ill gotten and is rude to him and disdainful. He takes it all in stride and leaves telling Sky he will see her in the morning. The next morning he finds out Claire took Sky home with her because they were at capacity at the shelter and Sky was very scared and skittish. He goes to her house and they all talk and enjoy breakfast together. He spends quite a bit of time with them and eventually Claire believes he’s a good guy and they go on a date. They talk about their pasts, Malcolm watched his parents get killed and his sister raped and killed while hiding when he was seven. He has a lot of unresolved issues because of the witnessed trauma. Claire decided to become a social worker because a young boy had brought a gun to school and fired it a few times grazing a few kids. Guns becomes their conflict issue, after their night together, in the morning she’s looking for her phone, when she doesn’t see it on the nightstand she opens the drawer and finds his gun. She gets mad at him for having a gun, he admits he has more than one. He tells her it’s for protection, after what he witnessed he was not going be be vulnerable again, plus his job as a prosecutor is risky at times. She says she can’t be with him because she can’t stand guns and leaves. When he doesn’t immediately chase after her and tell her he’ll get rid of his guns she’s disappointed. In the end her sister and Sky tells her she’s being unreasonable and she shouldn’t give up on love because of something they can work through. At Sky’s graduation party he apologizes and tells her he got rid of the guns, she apologizes and tells him he can keep them if he locks them up. I love yous and they live happily ever after. Epilogue ten years later Sky married and a doctor, they have two kids and he’s now the district attorney. I felt Claire over reacted to the guns, he was a single man who did not have kids in his home to be super concerned about the gun safety issue. Plus with his past the guns provided a level of safety and piece of mind for him.

"I'm not giving up on you." Rough Ride is another amazing story by this writing duo. Malcolm was a great H but the h, Claire had to grow on me. I'm so happy that we didn't have to read about CW. I enjoy reading MC books but always hesitant because of that possibility. I know with this duo, I didn't have any worries. Neither virgins, no others after meeting, no OM/OW drama, epilogue at 10 years. "I'm not giving up on you." Rough Ride is another amazing story by this writing duo. This was such a great story. Well-written story with fantastic H and h. Malcolm and Claire were perfect together. When Malcolm brought Skylar to the shelter he meet Claire who ends up taking Skylar home with her. The electricity between Malcolm and Claire was so tangible. Highly recommend this series but this story brought tears to my eyes. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Malcolm and Claire story was not what I was expecting but exactly what I wanted. Claire is in a good place. She got a wonderful job helping others and that pays back when Malcolm shows up with a young girl rescued off the streets. This was an emotional read for me. It is a well written, well-developed, emotionally deep, funny, witty, and engaging page-turner in the Men of Valor MC series! There are ups and downs, steam, emotional reveals, and drama guaranteed to keep you interested. The characters you will love and root for; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Aria Cole and Mila Crawford's Rough Ride is another smash hit in the Men of Valor MC multi-author series - in fact, could be my favourite to date. Malcom "Rough" Miller is the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. Behind the 6'6" 300lbs burliness, MC cut, Harley as a choice of ride, and vigilante tendencies, he's a military-trained (and former JAG) lawyer, prosecuting the criminals in the town of Valor, with a heart the size of Wyoming for victims of violence and abuse. Claire is a newbie social worker, working for a seasoned social worker who runs a shelter for runaway and troubled youth. When Malcolm rescues teenager Skylar, he brings her to the shelter. He has already bonded with Sky, and Claire quickly bonds with the girl as well when she ends up inviting her to stay at her place with the shelter full. Malcolm and Claire's meet-cute is awesome as she sticks her foot in her mouth countless times, mistaking his appearance and affiliation to the Valor MC as making him a criminal. But as the two get to know one another and bond over Skylar, the sizzling chemistry that is apparent from their very first interaction explodes. Malcolm is completely swoon-worthy, and Claire is smart, sassy, and both incredibly well-written and authentic. Isla and Skylar are fantastic supporting characters in a novella that packs a punch with as much steamy romance as possible while still telling a wonderful story. Unfortunately, this is skippable. I was most excited about seeing how Rough would navigate the stark contrast between his high profile job and the club. Unfortunately, the interactions with the club didn’t seem to fit the MC vibe at all. There was a disconnect with this book. I was also put off by Claire walking out without an adult discussion then being upset he didn’t chase her. Epilogue was great and the story had tons of potential but fell short. Another winner in this great MC series I absolutely loved Rough/ Malcolm and Claire's story. Malcolm is the biker/ lawyer with a tragic past that made him into the protector that he is. I loved him from the moment he saved 16 year old Skylar from being raped. He not only stopped the attack, but took her to a shelter for teens, where he meets Claire. I love their chemistry and their relationship. I recommend this story and series. Another winner in this great MC series I absolutely loved Rough/ Malcolm and Claire's story. This appears to be the sixth stand alone story in the multi author "Men of Valor MC" series. It is a short and quick read with pretty much instant love between a curvy lady and an alpha biker with a tendency for vigilante justice. Malcolm and Claire's story is interesting and my only negative is I wish there was more build to their story. You have former JAG lawyer and military trained meets social worker. Both with big hearts. I enjoyed the story and love the ending. This appears to be the sixth stand alone story in the multi author "Men of Valor MC" series. Malcolm aka Rough is a member to the Valor MC. He had a rough childhood, so once he join the MC he found a place that he belongs. Helping the unfortunate come easily to him. So helping a young girl in trouble bring a social worker that he knew she was going to be his. Clair knew she wanted to help people. This book was fast paced with a lot of sexy time. Great story! While some of the side characters deal with some darker themes than I’m used to for this dynamic duo it was still done great! Perfect example of not judging a book by its cover. Clair worked at the shelter when Malcolm walks in with a girl he rescued from the street. She doesn’t see how this hardened biker could be so good for the shelter or for her but she quickly learns Malcolm is devoted to both her and doing good. Really cute book!

This was a short romance within the Men of Valor MC series. Rough is mentioned in some of the previous stories so I was glad to see he had his own as well. He is rough around the edges but with some sweetness. Some of the story didn't make sense to me as the dialogue or events didn't match up with what was happening but overall the characters are sweet and had the lite MC aspect to it that doesn't detract from the actual romance.
