it was 30 pages, so it was a bit short. i liked the initial chapters in #0 (i was quite thrilled when reading), whereas here, i still enjoyed it but wish it went down differently. as this is a comic, its rly cool to zoom into the drawings of the reflections of people and finding out how they will die. it takes me a few seconds to figure it out and it gives me a lot of shock (schwab is rly good at portraying death in her stories, and even here it felt morbidly fascinating.) i wonder if charlotte te it was 30 pages, so it was a bit short. i liked the initial chapters in #0 (i was quite thrilled when reading), whereas here, i still enjoyed it but wish it went down differently. as this is a comic, its rly cool to zoom into the drawings of the reflections of people and finding out how they will die. it takes me a few seconds to figure it out and it gives me a lot of shock (schwab is rly good at portraying death in her stories, and even here it felt morbidly fascinating.) i wonder if charlotte telling people how they will die will change their fate. looking forward to the rest of this series!

Short While the story and the art are great, the whole thing is crazy short. Unfortunately I was suckered into buying per episode and should have waited on the bind up

“No, I’m going to find him. And I’m going to kill him. Before he can kill me.” 3,5/5! After her near death experience Charlotte has been able to see how people will die. She has also seen how she will die and who it is that kills her, and she is on a mission to get answers. When she finds out who it is that's after her, she sets out to save herself by killing him first. I've been enjoying this comic so far. I'm also just intrigued to see what will happen between her and Eli Ever. This issue also introduced an interesting new character, Felix, whom I'm already quite fond of: I hope we'll get to see a lot more of them in future issues and learn more about their backstory! I'm eagerly waiting for issue 3!

I wish these were longer. They're just so short. If I had more patience and self-control, I'd wait for the bind-up and read the whole story at once, but alas, I do not. But so far I quite like Charlotte - her power is very unique - and I'm intrigued to see where this story is going! I can't help but feel like it's going to end tragically (because let's be real, Eli has quite the record on him, as they remind us at the end of this issue), but I hope she makes it. the “new” characters in this spin off characters are essentially just the same characters from the original books. sorta disappointing felix- victor (electric eo, collects strays, the hero villain) marshall-mitch (the big burly tech man) charlotte-sydney (small scared blonde kid)

This was so action-packed, fast-paced and fun! I love the art and the layout of the scenes. Charlotte's a great character and I am really curious about the other two as well. With Charlotte’s new ability difficult to accept, she begins looking for the man she keeps seeing—Eli. New friends join the tale. Am enjoying the switching POV between issues. Interested to see if that continues.

Did I get chills at the end of this? Yes, yes I did. I’m really loving these comics! The art is stunning, the pacing has so far been great, and I’m just so glad to be back in my favorite Schwab world in this medium.

These are so short. Other then wishing it was longer I am liking the story and illustrations. I will probably read the entire series again after the last installment because they are so short.

Sometimes you get a writer that can seamlessly make the transition to comics because they understand plotting. V.E. Schwab is such a writer. Can't wait to read more! Honestly lm exited for the story of Charlotte I mean her powers are superrrr interesting but this part was to short for a book which I wouldn’t mind if it was important but not much happened in this one. I’m still gonna continue the series because I love the Idea and I think it has so much potential, Also the art is amazing if it was only for the art I would give this 5 stars.
