The job felt wrong from the start. The sheriff of Jericho offered Flint the bounty, but the contract originated from a murkier source—the Duskfinders, a secret society with ties to the Occult. Still, Flint accepted. Hunting bounties defined him. Most everyone figured Flint was just another badass in the sheriff's posse of dubious freaks, but he wasn’t beholden to that crew. He was a loner. Set his own path. Autonomy ain’t worth a damn, though, when a plan goes straight to hell, when a split-second decision triggers an avalanche of trouble. An enjoyeble story of Steampunk, cowboys, supernatural and a splash of magic, told from the point of views of several characters. I have to admit that when the story ended, I wanted to read more. Hopefully there will be a second book.

Kick-A female characters and an interesting plot! Passed the Bechdel test, which I always like to see. Liked the theme of shame/redemption. The western-fantasy mashup elements were fun - tattooed sorceress, guy with a gatling-gun for an arm, bounty hunter with an ocular implant, etc.

Wow, what a fun and interesting ride this was! Has all the elements for a successful character driven story which pulls you along and keeps you there. Unique and unforgettable characters. I loved this book and hope the authors have a series in mind. If they do, I'm there. Wow, what a fun and interesting ride this was! Amazing read that is pushing me to love the western genre even more. Such a great story, filled with unexpected easter eggs. Both the pro an ant were extremely relatable, and I found myself sympathizing with both sides of the coin. Very much one of those books I could not afford to put down. I cannot wait to read more from these amazing authors!

The title has more meaning than meets the eye Great combination of fantasy and hard reality. This read should give you some things to do some deeper thinking about.
