This one is complicated. it was soooo close to awesome This is a book with a lot of sex, that doesn't know what it wants to be. TL;DR = should be 2-3 star A great start but unfinished / incomplete. Do not expect an ending. This one starts out as a LitRPG, with some fetish elements. Then it steps back from the game aspect and It looks like it's going to lay down a little ground work like the back beat of a song. ...and then it never went back to the opening promise. Then it steps back from the game aspect and It looks like it's going to lay down a little ground work like the back beat of a song. ...and then it never went back to the opening promise. If this were a song, it keeps changing style and tempo. And yet it feels like it going to be awesome, like it's all building up to some crescendo. I was enjoying all the steps along the way, and I was looking forward to when it all came together and we get back to the game-world. It never really does, and that fells like missing a step walking down the stairs in the dark. Let me tell you a little bit of what is here. A very likeable MC. A smokin' hot older college instructor. some kick ass game mechanics (or they felt that way on the first reading). Secondly, there is a lot of sex and if feels natural and pretty hot. Justin Trublood is good at creating sexual tension between characters that feels real and right, (That is no easy feat) in only a few pages or less. I got interested in these people for their own lives and goals, not just for who was going to boink who. The 'building the Multi-Million dollar video game company' section of the book felt like this dude (the author) might actually know a thing about start-ups, and wile it kept taking us away from the main action in game, I became convinced that this was all set up for the rest of the series. I got very excited for this series that I was imagining in my mind. The more it built, the better I liked it. And yet, it all seems to fall apart in the last 30 pages. There were so many errors in the last few dozen pages of this book. Characters called by the wrong name, calling a Yacht a catamaran (no catamaran has a hot-tub on the fore deck) and anatomical impossibilities. I get the feeling that the last section of the book was banged out in a long all night marathon and the author knew if he reread it to edit it he would throw that part out so he just didn't even look at it again. -I started this review comparing this book to music, Now I'm going to compare it to a painting. The author had an inspiration, the image was clear in his mind. He got to work on that canvas with bush and paint and it was coming out great! and then he slowly ran out of gas and the empty parts of the canvas kept getting bigger and bigger. I can't blame you. It's damn near impossible to come home from work and pick up that brush and find where you left off last night. You don't want another unfinished work, you you splash some paint around the edges, kind Jackson Pollock style and call it done. Better a C+ than an incomplete. I get you man. very few people can write the 16 book epic that this was meant to be. But dude, I was right there. I was dreaming it with you. I saw that far horizon shining in the dawn that you got down on the page in the first half of the book and I gave you stars for the book this started as. If you ever get book two into print I will read that in a heartbeat. but after that falling down the stairs ending, I don't see book two happening.

Good fun and interesting series start 1st of all I enjoyed the book.I found comming in at the beginning of a digital World's creation could be interesting. Is this a way to anti age or perhaps other considerations I guess the author could explore whether this is an affectation of the game the AI's or even the immersion modules. Still i enjoyed the read. Do bear in mind the MC has no filter and Seems to enjoy everything female regardless of body type or age.Not necessarily a bad thing but we'll see how the game alters those bodies as well.Looking forward to the next book hope it on at the way too long.

A good enough book in the genre, but not outstanding. A lot of common elements with the other books of the author which I've read in the last couple of days, so the rating may have benefited from a bit of distance from those. I kinda liked how there was no real nemesis bad guy, just a creep who was easily neutralized, and by legal action at that. Sometimes a good villain helps a story, sometimes the story has enough hurdles for the protagonist without having to resort to one. That "bad guy" removal was a bit deus ex machina, but that's totally appropriate in this case. Not the last book of the year, but this one is the 300th, so I have met my (twice increased) challenge for 2021. Something diverting as the Omicron COVID-19 variant spins up what looks like another lockdown.

Slow start great finish so I hope there is a sequel. Spoiler alert: To the author: I am fascinated by the concept of VR affecting the mind body connection to the extent that training in the VR world can modify the body in the real world. The only other place I've seen this is the 3 volume series "Vivid Dream Reality" by Svannah Maun. So please follow up and show us where your idea of the concept leads. Great Spivey story and world I loved how Jace and characters grow in this book bit by but in how they reassured and helped over come dark fears of the other. I also love all the tech and surprise character we get from tech related stuff, I cannot wait for book 2 to see how it goes and if the story of Jace has to end a MC then hope to continue universe players that AI in Baldwin will find interesting observation subject(s)

Lured in by sex stayed for the story Great story I thoroughly enjoyed reading. This book had a good balance of sex and story. The sex always followed the story not the other way round! A lot of sex heavy book don't follow the story and I find them a pain to read as they devolve into a repetitive strain on injury. This book found the right balance and I am looking forward to the next book. Lured in by sex stayed for the story Great story I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Outstanding mix of RPG and slice of life. I thought this was a great story about AI, game & hardware development, and corporate startups. Character and plot development was smooth and interesting. There wasn't any editing or grammar that took me out the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed this read, you should as well. Great read. Very original story! A very nice surprise. Not an author I am familiar with, but I am glad I picked this up. The story and characters are written well. I hope we get more books in the series and will be following this author from now on. Pick it up for a good story/romance.

Sexy with a mix of fantasy and business This is a fun story that really mixes business, academics, and fantasy well. You've got harem elements along with technology reworking people sexually. The whole result is a lot of fun. I'm hoping Justin will continue this into a longer series, as it truly deserves to have more story with all the potential he's established. Very Interesting Certainly a different type of story with a different and very interesting women. Intriguing type of plot, I certainly enjoyed it and would be interested in continuing the story. I have no idea where you would go with it but that's why I'm a reader and not an author. Very Interesting Certainly a different type of story with a different and very interesting women. What a great read Saw the premise and thought I would give the book a chance and am really glad that I did. Excellent read with a lot of excellent adult content with a great story premise. Really hope to get a book 2 on this series because I would like to see where the story goes from here.

Fun but unfinished Mature educated business Women who get to be sexy. And scientist, gamer student gets to live fantasy while having several scientific breakthroughs. Great but harem novels have their tropes and there are several here but the story is unresolved. That means another one is coming!

This is not something that I'd normally read and this book did not sell me onto the genre as such, but if you overlook the (at times) cringeworthy smut, the storyline is not bad. I guess writers need to get this out of their system before they trust themselves to make the plot stand on its own. I look forward to this author's future books that tell a story... without the cringe. Great It's was an interesting take on the whole litrpg. This is the first where i see the development of the world and technology build. Pretty, Pretty Good Not sure how to describe this tale. I wasn't into first couple of chapters, the struggling college student building an DnD AI left me with the blahhhs. but sometimes slow beginnings lead to great tales. This one at least for me has. Fun Romp Fun romp in a computer based\real world. Good character s fun dialogue, watching a young 20something man, being "guided" by some serious MILF's was fun. I hope he does do a book 2 there's a great deal of potential in that world! Fun Romp Fun romp in a computer based\real world. A quality and very fun book! I enjoyed this take on harems. The idea that a woman having her own harem of men while being apart of a harem of women is novel and has me excited for another installment. 👍🏾👍🏾
