I’m not a big fan of the lock up and torture sort of stories, which is what majority of this consistented of. I also saw previous reviews stating how extreme and gross this was, which I didn’t necessarily agree with. Maybe it’s because I almost exclusively read horror, namely Kristopher Triana, Elias Witherow, and such, and they’ve left me sort of desensitized to most things nowadays. But the gore level is very ok, but nothing special. However, there is an ample amount of violence and even rape. I also tend to shy away from books under 100 pages, which this was claimed to be, but actually only clocked in at 85. So, like always, I felt the characters were not developed well at all, the ending felt very sudden and unsatisfactory, and everything was pushed aside to make room for a meek attempt at graphic content.

A young wife is caught redhanded by her husband cheating on him with the plumber. He has very devious plans with her including the basement. What about his new girlfriend Emilia? Then there is a strange mysterious woman coming along. Is she related to any of the other women? Interesting triangle kidnapping story with a convincing villain and poor victims. It's is a Sam West novella so be prepared for some cruel details. Pretty solid quick story from West! Story is a bit linear and you know what your getting with him. The end seemed rushed and some of the "deaths" were lack luster for his style. Does leave room for a 2nd story potentially in the future. Pretty solid quick story from West! Story is a bit linear and you know what your getting with him. I did actually enjoy this one, it started off really well and got into the swing, but then I find with quite a few of Sam’s books it is like she gives up at the end and forgets the story is coming to an end. Overall though it was a good read, quite short and full of betrayal, revenge, kidnap and torture.

Have you ever been cheated on? This book takes those feelings and rage gives us a perfect solution on feeling better. That is if you're okay with going to prison or worse lol. I like Wests style, and I'm seeing all these reviews about a rushed ending. It was quick, but explained everything it needed to, so I didn't mind the ending. Have you ever been cheated on? It was readable, but not so engaging that you couldn't put it down. This is not as extreme as most of Sam West's other books, but Sam will remain in my top three of 'Go to' authors for extreme horror. Good read I always enjoy a Sam West book as you know your in for a sick adventure. This of course is one that is just that, a sickening, brutal story of a obsessed male. Whom has an of zealous ego of superiority over women. It's a storyline that's been heard before but this is a more brutal and gruesome way that holds no bounds, and has the Sam West way of grabbing your attention to the very end. An excitingly good read. Recommended Good read I always enjoy a Sam West book as you know your in for a sick adventure. A cautionary tale for cheaters. Another brilliant Sam West book. It's too short, as is often the case but still a great read. *Possible spoiler alerts* It's essential reading for men who are having an affair with a married woman, married women who are cheating on their man, psychos that try and punish said cheating wife (or at least have a fail-safe secret dungeon/have a spare gun, knife etc stashed/have a loyal automated robot bodyguard). Great book by Sam West, a must read ! A cautionary tale for cheaters. Another brilliant Sam West book. Interesting The plot seemed interesting so I started reading. Not really my type of book. But I have to say it was a “You have to finish it” type of story. Very graphic. Not bad. But it would be interesting to get a full novel with character development. Like I said, the plot is interesting.

Ok This was an ok read but nothing spectacular apart from the end which I particularly liked. Unfortunately, as I now expect with this author the typos/errors begin immediately on page 1. I'm not even sure I want to read any more because of this. Ok This was an ok read but nothing spectacular apart from the end which I particularly liked. Good It’s a good book, I read it very quick, everything is connected very well. However, it shouldn’t just say it’s horror, as it’s very gore as well.

Is the blurb meant to be a joke? Nice ominous ending, overall too short for me - there’s a reason I tend to avoid novellas. Decent writing, will seek more from the author.

Another win from Sam West! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I can’t wait for the next one. I also love that she brings in cameos of characters from past books.

Typical Sam West here. Fun, gross, and even thought-provoking, this one would be an easy 3.5* if that were an option.
