Alright I've been enjoying this series so far but this one just kinda drug out and the storyline kinda just fell flat. I get what the author was trying to do and establish the main character as an adult but it was just kind of a descent into sex and drugs and really went no further. I am really hoping the next one in this series is better 3.5 stars from me Alright I've been enjoying this series so far but this one just kinda drug out and the storyline kinda just fell flat. Good This is a good read as long as you are reading the series, I think otherwise you might get confused on whom some of the characters are, that are mentioned in the story. Deicide is a great character, and you can't blame her choices, with everything she has been and still going through. She is all over the place and is making choices to try and help herself cope. A great storyline in the whole series, this is a little on the game side. Especially compared with the other books in the series. But I see why it was one that was important to portray concerning Deicide's decisions and in life at the moment. Good read, little tame and but would still recommend.

Crystal cracked I like Ace for Deicide. I think she is being a bit petty as she forgives and continues a relationship with Alec even though he took advantage of her and exposed her to the cult; while she continues to ignore pops who obviously loves her and is actively trying to make amends. Pops went too far again when he refused her the gift he offered but I understand his warped logic. I'm curious as to what Lip wants with Pops and can't wait to watch this meeting unfold. Fabulous I know there wasn't a lot of action in this book, but I didn't feel short changed at all. I understand that Deicide was leaving a very traumatic situation and needed to regroup, so if she just went from almost dying back to her old life it wouldn't feel realistic. I am hoping that she gives Pops another chance.. he is screwed up in the head but he really DOES love her. Alec just likes her because she's interesting but he's not devoted like Pops. I'm also interested in what will happen n Fabulous I know there wasn't a lot of action in this book, but I didn't feel short changed at all. I read too fast for some authors especially if I come across a series like this one. Yeah it's messed up. Bad. And there is animal abuse, but we are talking about a serial killer here. It goes with the territory. Let me just say I hate animal abuse, but the author did a great job of just enough to make you hate Pops and Grams. Bravo. You made me cringe. I just ate this gem up and can NOT wait until the next book comes out. Do yourself a favor, grit your teeth past the Tickles and read the series I read too fast for some authors especially if I come across a series like this one. Yeah it's messed up. Bad. Disturbing as Hell Not for the faint I read the entire series in a 24 hour period. I couldn't put it down. It is one of the most honest takes on the years old psychological debate of "nature vs nurture" naturally this is fiction therefore darker details than a news story would tell in real life but this kind of stuff really happens and sometimes worse. Dont start it if you are triggered easily by traumatic events. Disturbing as Hell Not for the faint I read the entire series in a 24 hour period. I couldn't put it down. As Deicide's grows up she has more choices to make, where it will lead her is anyone's gues but know her life will always be filled with death and decay, well written depraved, dark, and more can't wait for more! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Not my favorite book in the series. It was still warped but it showed a side of Decide as an adult finally on her own doing what she wants to do. Like always it’s a super quick read and this one had very minimal gore.

Drug of Choice Decide is finally adult. Out in the world making adult decisions, getting a job, making friends, spending money on habits. One habit better than the other and the next one better and better. She doesn't need Pops of does she. I can't wait for Book 6. Drug of Choice Decide is finally adult. Not terrible, but not the best. The author herself even said she wasn’t fan of this one. The beginning just dragged on and I was waiting for something to happen. The path she’s got D going is interesting, but has been slightly predictable. Hopefully her last ends well.

GREAT!! This ended way to soon!!! I lost track of page numbers and was bummed when it was over! Deicide is on her own now making her way. Not all good, but she is on her own. Alec calls her about a message about Lip. Now she’s scared that Lip will find her.

Meh I didn't like this one at all. It has gone completely away the storyline. Boring and a waste of time. She could be so much more interesting. Meh I didn't like this one at all. It has gone completely away the storyline. Boring and a waste of time. She could be so much more interesting.
