The author herself admits there's nothing in this book you can't find elsewhere. What makes Chandler's book valuable, she believes, is that is contains thorough advice on creating and marketing a variety of information products (e-books, books, tips booklets) all within the same cover. I'll buy that; Chandler's recommendations are solid and presented a clear, easy-to-follow style. I'll buy that; Chandler's recommendations are solid and presented a clear, easy-to-follow style. For me, however, the book is most useful in framing my understanding of information marketing and the possibilities for infopreneurship. Because the book is so utilitarian, it's a dry read at times. I imagine this doesn't much matter if you're applying Chandler's suggestions to a particular project, rather than looking for general inspiration as I was.

This was a really instructional book; Stephanie Chandler breakdown exactly how to sell information is any form. I actually read this book twice.

Some interesting and useful information but now showing its age with outdated references and concepts. Urgently needs updating to stay relevant. There are better, more up-to-date, guides out there.

This is gives you all that you need to know to get started with information marketing, while keeping it simple enough that you don't get bogged down with the paralysis of perfection that comes from knowing too much before you take action. I can see that it will serve as a great reference book in my collection that I'll visit often. What's more, if I ever find that I need more help in an area, it's loaded with resources.
