Best friends George Woldt and Lucas Salmon were an unlikely pair. Woldt was a fast-talking liar and well-dressed ladies man. The deeply religious Salmon couldn't get a date to save his life. But Salmon worshipped Woldt, and Woldt sensed in his willing friend someone who would join him in his deadly obsession. For months, the two attempted their plan, "bumping" a jogger in the park, stalking women in nightclub parking lots, even targeting a young girl and a grandmother. Each "near miss" only excited them more, stirring their sexual bloodlust ... until they victimized Jacine Gielinski in a crime so horrific it brought a life sentence for Salmon, and the death penalty for Woldt.

When two minds, one more dominating, blend together as one the evil begins. Not only does this book tells of the death of a truly innocent young victim it goes into what is right and wrong with the death penalty. It tells of the victims left behind and how lives beyond the courtroom are destroyed. Gripping and horrifying at the same time. Makes you wonder if it is even safe to try to live your life or just stay home. However home is really not safe either.

I was a college student when this happened...to this day I am still shocked of what happened to her, it could have been me or anyone else for that matter. . . I hope they rot. . . I really do. What they did is not only horrific but EVIL. It was a shock to a beloved city like Colorado Springs, may they suffer the way she suffered. My thoughts and prayers goes to Jacine Gielinski and her family.

The true story of a woman killed, apparently for kicks, by a couple of numbskulls. I sure hope they threw away the key.

I didn't like this one at all. I only read to the middle (where the photos are). It is poorly written because the author jumps back and forth with a lot of material repeated.
